LMG recently acquired a broadcasting solution for distribution of content for events. LMG’s technology brings an end to end IPTV solution capable of multi-channel deployment over LAN and WAN architectures. This IPTV system consists of multiple front end encoders, a feature rich middleware management component, and multi format set top boxes.

Through the use of this system, clients can compress their live and recorded media content on location and deliver it over the network to an unlimited number of multi channel set top boxes. In addition, through the use of the middleware component, LMG can develop custom on screen channel and program guides, conditional access control per set top box, and video on demand functionality.

An appropriate network environment is needed in order to deploy this system, as this system is not designed to deliver content over the internet. Basic network needs are 4Mbps continuous throughput for each live or on demand channel. Dedicated networks and secure VPN’s within the LAN or WAN are highly recommended.
