LMG Systems Integration Completes Valencia Special Events Center

LMG Systems Integration recently provided complete audiovisual systems for the new 17,000 square foot, lakefront Special Events Center at Valencia Community College on the West Campus of the college in Florida.
LMG installed state-of-the-art video, audio, lighting and control systems for the new building. "The system was programmed and integrated to be very flexible, depending on the event. The technology was designed to accomodate thirteen possible different room configurations," says Tim Philpot, Sales Engineer for LMG Systems Integration.
The $6.8 million Special Events Center has a large, open space for conferences, meetings and community events, which can seat 320 people for formal banquets or 400 people theater-style. Designed by Hunton Brady Architects Corporation, the new space also includes a studio for Valencia’s architecture program and a commercial-sized instructional kitchen for its culinary program.
This new facility is also a LEED-certified green building for its environmentally friendly characteristics. LEED certification recognizes building performance in five key areas: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality.
The Special Events Center will officially open in at the end of March with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
