Completed in 2009,  LMG integrated state-of-the-art video, audio, and control systems to support the 100,000 square foot joint-use facility for Valencia Community College and the University of Central Florida. Located at VCC’s west campus, the facility is part of an initiative by UCF and the region’s four community colleges to expand students’ access to higher education.  The LEED-certified facility houses more than 40 “SMART”classrooms, a state-of-the-art testing center, computer labs, study rooms, faculty and staff offices and a café.

LMG provided intergation and programming for the audiovisual systems that support the SMART classrooms and facility, including projection, screens, audio, touchpanel control system, cameras, and DVD/VHS players, designed in a compact system to be easily controlled and managed by the instructor or presenter.  Each system, designed consistently throughout the “SMART” classrooms, included a Panasonic PT-F200U 3500 lumens LCD projectors, Elmo PTC-110 Pan/Tilt/Zoom ceiling mounted camera systems, and Crestron control systems with MPS-200 Media Manager Presentation System and Isys TPS-4000 touchpanel, customized and programmed by LMG for Valencia/UCF for ease of use throughout the facility.
