Valencia Community College

LMG has been working with Valencia Community College for many years in conjunction with their “Smart Classroom Initiative,” which began campus-wide in 2003. Valencia’s mission is to “provide state-of-the-art technology enhanced teaching and learning environments” for students and faculty. Working with the Office of Information Technology, LMG has designed, intergated and maintained multiple smart classrooms across their West, Osceola, and Winter Park campuses.
The Allied Health Sciences Building on Valencia’s West Campus was completed in 2008 with twenty-nine SMART classrooms, as well as teaching labs and multi-purpose rooms. Planning for the state-of-the-art facility began in May 2007, and today the building is providing students, faculty and the community with a technology-enhanced teaching and learning environment to produce highly trained graduates for dental hygiene, radiology, sonography, respiratory therapy and cardiovascular technology.
