
Rob Thomas, Cradlesong Tour
LMG Touring provided full audio support for Rob Thomas’ North America cradlesong Tour, which kicked off in September 2009 at the Hard Rock Live arena in Hollywood, FL and appeared in cities such as New York, Boston, Toronto, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Seattle, and Vancouver.
LMG supplied and rigged an extensive d&b audiotechnik J series PA, which includes a complement of 24 J8 and J12 loudspeakers, and 12 J Sub speakers. The system also includes eight E8 and 12 Q1 d&b loudspeakers, as well as four J-series Infra Subs.
In addition, LMG Touring provided a custom built and designed FOH and monitor touring package, which features the Digidesign VENUE, a state-of-the-art live sound production environment that includes an intuitive control surface, easy-to-use D-Show® software, Pro Tools|HD integration, and the array of TDM processing available. LMG touring engineer, Jim Yakabuski mixed the tour as FOH engineer, and industry veteran Doug Kimball acted as monitor engineer.
