LMG Provides Best Equipment for the Best Damn Tour
Orlando, Fla. –LMG, Inc., a national provider of video, audio, and lighting support, is currently providing audio support for Avril Lavigne’s Best Damn Thing World Tour, which kicked off in early March at the Save on Foods Memorial Arena in Victoria, British Columbia. The tour is scheduled to appear across Canada and the United States, and then will move to cities throughout Europe.

Working with Nettwerk Management, LMG supplied and rigged an extensive L’ Acoustics line array speaker system, which includes 30 V-DOSC full range speakers, 20 KUDO speakers, 12 dV-DOSC speakers, and four ARCS speakers. The system also includes 16 Meyer Sound 700HP ultra high power subwoofers.

In addition, LMG custom built a state-of-the-art touring package, which includes two Digidesign VENUE D-Show Profile consoles. Each console is loaded with 96 inputs, as well the All Access Pack of plug-ins, allowing for studio quality effects built directly into the system. The systems are also packaged with Pro Tools HD, which is the most powerful, flexible, in-demand digital audio workstation available on the market. LMG’s show technicians for the tour include Jim Yakabuski as Front of House Engineer, and Evan Hall as V-DOSC engineer, who have been integral in the design and build of the state-of-the-art system.

“We designed this system specifically for the Avril Lavigne Tour and used all of latest tools,” said Jim Yakabuski.  “On every level - the equipment, rack layout, packaging, and rigging - the system is designed to provide optimal quality sound and flexibility, using innovative techniques not commonly seen in an arena setting.”

LMG, a show technology company, has provided video, audio and lighting support for some of the world’s largest conventions and meetings, nationally televised events and FORTUNE 500 company business presentations.
