ORLANO, FL, DECEMBER 30, 2008 —LMG Touring provided the entire stage audio package for Jars of Clay’s The Love Came Down Tour throughout December 2008. Matthew Peskie, production manager/FOH engineer for Jars of Clay, previously worked with LMG Touring as the audio vendor on the Avril Lavigne’s The Best Damn Tour.

“From the beginning LMG has been extremely supportive in providing exactly what we needed for the tour,” explains Peskie. “LMG’s audio crew -- Steve McCale (director of touring), Jim Yakabuski (senior touring engineer) and Jeff Jensen -- have been great to work with, especially in the prep stages of getting the gear out the door for the tour. They were there the whole way making sure everything was set up as I was envisioning it.”

LMG Touring provided a robust Digidesign® VENUE system for front-of-house (FOH) and a d&b audiotechniks Q series PA. LMG Touring’s FOH package features Digidesign VENUE, a state-of-the-art live sound production environment that includes an intuitive control surface, easy-to-use D-Show® software, Pro Tools|HD integration, and the array of TDM processing available.

The d&b audiotechnik Q-Series is a sonically accurate compact line array, weighing in at only 49 pounds each but capable of 139 dB of clarity and warmth. These flexible loudspeakers can be effortlessly and scalably combined for a multitude of small to large coherent arrays. They are ideal for situations using numerous open microphones and where considerable gain before feedback is required.
