LMG Touring Streams Flo Rida’s R.O.O.T.S. CD Release Party

“Connecting Flo Rida with his fans for this event was an incredible accomplishment,” explains Jonah Ninger, CEO of mycontent.com. “It couldn’t have been done without LMG’s incredible support and innovative solutions.” Steve McCale, LMG’s director of touring states, “Our team designed a system that tightly integrated audio, video, lighting and our satellite streaming technology for a flawless event that streamed to thousands of viewers. Technology is nothing without the people that use it to make magic, and my guys are true magicians!”
“You feel like you’re right there with Flo Rida!” exclaims Cassandra Mills, president of mycontent.com. “It’s all about bringing the fan closer to the artist. With LMG’s next generation streaming technology, we’re looking forward to an incredible launch for mycontent.com this summer.”
LMG Touring shot the show with three Thomson LDK 600 cameras running through a High Definition Switching System which uses a Snell & Wilcox Kahuna 2ME Switcher, providing a 1080i workflow. The company powered Flo Rida’s live stream with redundant LMG satellite streaming systems using Digital Rapid Stream Z encoders. The broadcast mix was created using a Digidesign VENUE Profile console and recorded to a fully integrated Pro Tools|HD system. Finally, LMG also augmented the club lighting to handle red carpet and spotlights for the stage.
“Our satellite streaming technology is not just top-of-the-line, it’s one-of-a-kind,” adds McCale. “Currently, we are the only company that offers an integrated package that includes high-quality streaming and advanced audio, video, and lighting solutions for live shows. We are comfortable with what it takes to pull it all off and have some exciting shows lined up including a TNA Wrestling broadcast with mycontent.com on Sunday, April 19.
